My Gordon “trail” ends with John Gordon(born 1735) in( Chester/Raymond/Londonderry/Windham) and moved to Camden, Maine. He appears several times in Camden records(land purchase-census) Many family trees on Ancestry say that Daniel Gordon(1704 Exeter New Hampshire) was John’s father. If this were true I would have a direct link to “Old” Alexander Gordon of Exeter. I recently received information written by Lois Edith Gordon Crawford who has made a futile attept to prove the trail to Alexander Gordon. Her brother, Gordon, had a DNA test with Family Tree which indicated there was no DNA link with Alexander Gordon. I found some of Ms Crawford’s works(A vignette of Bygone Days) in the Camden Library.
