Descendants of Dr. Charles Gordon, b. 1837 - Ireland
According to the 1872 death certificate for Dr. Charles Gordon, he was born in Ireland in 1838, and his father was also John Charles Gordon b. abt. 1810 No mothers name given, he apparently came here via a ship called the "transatlantic" in 1860 but he was using the name "Clark(e)" He married in that name but changed back to Gordon when the kids arrived and was using it when he was killed gold mining at a place called, Gundry near Goulburn NSW, Australia, in 1872.
