Descendants of David A. Gordon b. ca 6/12/1823-6/18/1824 OH m. Catherine Ann Hull b. 1828 OH marriage took place in Allen Co. IN. Family tradition gives the Gordons migrating from PA, through Cumberland Valley, into OH, then to IN. David was Union soldier killed 10/27/18
I basicly have hit a brick wall with my GGGGrandfather. He was born in either 1822 or 1823 in either PA or Ohio. He was married in Indiana and joined the 85th Ill Infantry Regiment in Aug. 1862. He was wonunded in the battle of Plainsville, Ky., in early Oct. 1862 and taken as a prisoner to the Conferdate hospital in Danville, KY were he died on Oct. 19, 1862. He is burried there. I have other information on Gordons's in my Indiana area that everybody says that we are related, but I cannot find the common ancestor.
